Thank you for visiting my site! I am a third-generation artist from California, of Mexican decent. I began painting with Oils on Canvas at my grandmother’s knee. More recent work has included sculpture, watercolor, and print art. My studio is open by appointment only.
This monotype print work uses figures painted on rice paper in Sumi style, then chine-colle’ on paper that will be hand printed. Using etching oil paint on recycled plastic, paper, brush work and sticks, pressed to paper. Block Prints are hand carved and hand rolled using etching oil. artist, print art, latin art, Mexican, Endangered Species
I am inspired by the nature that surrounds me; it is an ever-changing color palette; be it on the water or land. I am influenced by my Latin culture using a whimsical style and vibrant colors.
